The United States is, through the work of ORT America and World ORT’s fundraising team in the country, the largest source of ORT fundraising.

ORT America was created in 2007 from the merger of Women’s American ORT – established in 1927 – and American ORT – established in 1922.

ORT America runs fundraising activities from seven regional offices in support of ORT projects in Israel and the former Soviet Union.
