We are currently seeking an experienced, qualified, French speaking Project Archivist for an exciting new cataloguing project.

You will be responsible for cataloguing the World ORT International Cooperation archive to international archival standards. You will begin by auditing and appraising this mixed-media collection. A French speaker with excellent English writing skills, you will apply your archival expertise, including your knowledge of appraisal, cataloguing best-practice, preservation and digitisation, to organise, rehouse and catalogue the items into Calm.

Fixed term, 6-month contract (with possibility of extension)

LondonMarketing Internship

As part of your internship, we would expect to be able to provide you with work experience in the Global Jewish not-for-profit sector within a marketing and communications setting and anticipate that you will be able to stay with us over a six month period which would allow you and World ORT to gain the most out of this experience.

You will be joining ORT at an exciting time as we have recently re-branded and have a new Marketing & Communications (MarComm) department which includes a full-time Head of External Affairs, Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer.

Your internship will focus on in implementing and building a strong brand across social media, optimising the website and assisting with general copywriting and video creation.

LondonIsrael desk co-ordinator

World ORT is seeking an Israel Desk Co-ordinator. The Israel Desk functions as a conduit between ORT head office and all its operations in Israel via World ORT Kadima Mada (WOKM). The role ensures that all requests for proposals, reports and information from our fundraising colleagues around the world are directed to Israel and the information is gathered in a timely fashion. An understanding of project management, budgeting and reporting will be a key element for this role.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate with proven proficiency in all Microsoft packages, specifically with advanced Excel knowledge. You will have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Hebrew with excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service and be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

You will be working under the direction of the Head of the Israel Desk to deliver the following (but not limited to):-

  • Updating budget tables
  • Organising reporting
  • Follow up of reporting on projects
  • Assisting with preparation and delivery of proposals
