In June 2019 I travelled to London to take part in the World ORT Hatter Technology Seminar and the experience was wonderful.
It had a huge impact on every aspect of my life. Although I don’t speak English very well, I found myself in a different culture, with the opportunity to learn more about teaching techniques.
I had to overcome the fear of language and interact so that the purpose of the trip was fulfilled. I saw attending the seminar as a watershed in my professional life: I am now more confident, and I am more creative and dynamic with students. I am so grateful to have had this opportunity.
The seminar was different from others I have attended. The professionals who conducted the sessions were very dedicated and attentive. The participating teachers like myself were very kind and generous in sharing their professional experiences. I feel stronger as an educator after attending the seminar.
It showed me that the ORT network is very strong and has many dedicated professionals who love what they do. They are willing to improve every day to bring quality education to students and change their lives for the better.
