Brave teenager Daniel Wultz dies

16 May 2006 ORT family mourns the loss of Daniel Wultz The ORT family has joined thousands of people around the world in mourning the loss of Florida teenager Daniel Wultz, who died on Sunday from wounds sustained during the April 17 suicide bombing in Tel Aviv. Daniel is the 11th victim of the Islamic Jihad terrorist. He was in Israel with his Israeli-born father, Tuly, and mother, Sheryl who are members of Womens American ORTs PalmWard Evening Chapter to spend Pesach with relatives. He had been enjoying a snack with his father at a kosher caf near the old central bus station when the terrorist exploded just a few feet away. Mr Wultz is recovering from his leg injuries but his 16-year-old son suffered severe internal injuries and underwent surgery several times. Daniels struggle to live was publicised through the internet and was supported by the prayers of thousands of people around the world including acclaimed novelist Naomi Ragen. Alas, our organisation is no stranger to the evil of terrorism many ORT Israel students and graduates have been murdered since September 2000. The funeral is due to be held today (Tuesday) at Chabad Lubavitch of Weston, 18501 Tequesta Trace Park Lane in Weston, Florida.
