London, 25 November 2003 Ivan Lewis MP, Parliamentary Undersecretary of State for Skills and Vocational Education, today visited ORT House. Participants who took part in the visit and animated dialogue and discussion relating to mutual cooperation and potential educational opportunities, included World ORT Director General, Robert Singer and ORT layleaders: Sir Maurice Hatter, Deputy President of World ORT; Mark Mishon, Member of World ORT Executive Committee and Former Chairman of British ORT; David Woolf, Co-Chair of British ORT and Member of World ORT Finance Committee; Alan Goldman, Co-Chair of British ORT and Member of World ORT Board of Directors; and Suzanne Davis, Chair of Friends of ORT. During his visit Mr. Lewis was presented with an in depth look into ORTs history, structure, international activities and vision for the future and viewed examples of ORTs multi media resources and programmes.
