Jewish Museum, Prague releases CD-ROM on Jewish culture

The Jewish Museum in the Prague, Czech Republic has recently put out a CD-ROM teaching young children about Judaism. World ORT established the computer lab at the Education and Culture Centre in the republic’s only Jewish Museum and inaugurated it in the presence of the Czech Republic President Vaclav Havel. This CD-ROM is the first multimedia basic overview of Jewish history in Bohemia and Moravia, including a brief introduction to Jewish religion, traditions habits and rules of life. Software is targeting secondary school students in the Czech republic as well as the wider public interested in Jewish history. It also provides a complementary source for public lectures organised by the Education and Culture Centre at the Jewish museum in Prague.
