World ORT Press Release 10 April 1999 The Coca-Cola Foundation have agreed to increase its funding of ORT Chiles science education programme to enable a further twenty five schools throughout Chile to benefit. The Coca-Cola Foundation have been funding ORT Chiles science education programme since 1996. The project which teaches science using computers aims to improve scientific education in Chiles public (state) schools. Each school is fully equipped with a computer and science laboratory to enable students to measure scientific variables. ORT runs a two year training programme with each school and then continues to support and assist the schools via distant education using the Internet.
